Jane’s Carousel is a beautiful antique carousel that you can find in Brooklyn, protected by a glass box. Thanks to this you can always go for a ride, rain or shine, with or without children. Yes, Jane’s Carousel is for all ages, no one will look at you funny because you are older, so don’t be embarrassed and get on it, it’s only $2. The area where the carousel is located is known as DUMBO (Down Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass), and was one of the most affected during Hurricane Sandy in October 2012. The wind also affected Jane’s Carousel (originally from Youngstown, Ohio), only one year after it opened. Luckily the damage was repaired quickly and now the carousel is more beautiful than ever.
